FIA Rally Star American Final

During the FIA Rally Star American Final held at Maggiora Offroad Arena, Italy. Storme was the only North American candidate to make it to Stage 3, despite minimal experience with off-road racing (or any racing for that matter) outside the virtual world.

Storme's only previous off-road racing experience prior to the American Final was a school/lapping day at a Rallycross course with the Kitchener-Waterloo Rally Club and no experience in an actual race car like the LifeLive TN5 Crosscars used by all candidates at the American Final. Making driving these Crosscars even harder for Storme, is the fact that there was only one of them that Storme could fit in with reletive comfort, that Crosscar later suffered a mechanical failure and was not available for Storme to use during his Stage 3 runs.

Making it to Stage 3 is also a much more significant accomplishment when considering the caliber of the other candidates, some of whom are actual off-road racing drivers like Santiago Ruiz from Uruguay, Nadia Lafuente from Uruguay, Annia Cilloniz from Peru, and Chase Gerer from the USA just to name a few of the off-road racing drivers at the event, alot of the other candidates did testing in Crosscars or vehicles that are very comparable to the LifeLive TN5 Crosscars used during the American Final prior to the Final.

Pernilla Solberg, Former Rally Driver, mother of Oliver Solberg and Wife of Petter Solberg mentioned Stormes "Natural Talent" as did Jerome Roussel, FIA Cross Country and Rally Catogory Manager during the American Final.
